This past weekend, we traveled to the Cliffs of Moher and Blarney Castle. The sights were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I knew that the cliffs would be amazing to see, but I did not know how large and breathtaking they would be. I was overwhelmed by the size and by the height of the cliffs. The castle was less than I was expecting. I did not realize how old the castle was and thought it would be more like Kilkenny Castle. It was hard for me to understand how people lived there back in the day and how it functioned as a home to royalty. Also at Blarney Castle, we saw beautiful waterfalls and scenery. The landscaping was an amazing sight to see. I learned from this weekend trip that I need to see more of the world.
